Please remember that all wedding receptions are different, and this page is simply a guide. We do carry thousands of music tracks, which span the last five decades, and so the music that your mobile disco will play, can be just as varied as the wedding guests attending. All audiences are different, and a lot of what we play will depend on 'reading' the audience and watching the reaction on the dancefloor, no DJ, however experienced, can predict an exact playlist in advance of your own function since musical taste is as individual to each person as is their taste in food, drink, fashion etc. It is tradition at Wedding Receptions, for the Bride and Groom to have the first dance, and this usually signals the start of the actual disco. If you have invited Evening Guests, who may not have attended the actual Wedding Ceremony, then it is often advisable to leave the first dance until the majority of the guests have arrived, and suitable background music is played during this period. The Bride and Groom also choose the first track, and sometimes also choose a second track as well. The second track is usually played and dedicated to the Bride and her Father, or for the Bride & Groom to invite their friends and relatives to join them on the dancefloor. This second track is not obligatory, but can be included if required 2008 Saw the third year on year increase for wedding bookings with Mindy's Mobile Disco and already 2009 is looking to make that 4 consecutive years where the amount of Weddding and Civil Partnership bookings had grown. From the amount of thank you letters, calls and emails we believe the reason for this is that we listen to what is required for your Special Day. NO 2 WEDDINGS ARE ALIKE. This is a proven fact as every bride and groom want their day to be unique to them. Some Weddings book a disco on its own, some have a band, a singer a pianist and so on. The first consideration in working along side other entertainment is to ensure this part of the day or night runs smoothly. We can liase with other entertainers to organise where everyone will be set up on the night to take the worry away from you. In Addition NO 2 VENUES ARE ALIKE either. Places such as a village hall, Hotel, Stately Home, Mansion, Social Club , Marquee and the local Football club. All venues need special consideration when arranging set up times and access, very often the top table may be set up where the Entertainment will be, on occasion we may need to be set before you arrive after the wedding so as not to disrupt the day. In Short we will arrange as much as we can. We may not be the cheapest Disco you may call but we can assure you that we have the experience. If you think that a Quality Wedding cake costs from £225.00 to over £400 the cost of a Disco for some of our wedding packages can be very close in price. One thing to remember however is that if you are booking a standard night time package only, then there is no additional charge just because its a wedding. In these cases our price is the same as for a Birthday or a anniversary.
